Gareth Cadwallader

Gareth is the creator and host of The Founders’ Way, a coaching podcast for founders and founding teams building start-ups and scale-ups. His vision for The Founders Way is that it will become an invaluable companion for founders and members of founding teams along their start-up journey.

Gareth believes that everything in business is situational; the first answer is always, “it depends.” The Founders Way provides tools, frameworks, tips and tricks and shared experience to challenge and support founders.

Gareth boils down what he has learnt across ten founding teams and six exits, sharing thirty years of experience of what actually moves the needle for start-ups and their founders. He’s had a unique opportunity to participate in many start-ups in different roles: co-Founder, Founding Team Member, Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Chairman, almost always a substantial investor, sometimes acting as a Project Manager or Interim Manager as well.

He’s seen up-close and first-hand how the start-up journey is among the most challenging and rewarding adventures any of us go through, and has seen just how much founders can grow personally as they grow their businesses.

On The Founders’ Way Gareth and many of his comrades from past and present campaigns, offer the space to think through what matters most and the toolkit to deal effectively with growth, product, people, cash, business evolution and exit. It’s paradoxical that Founders spend all day and night thinking about their business and yet have very little time available to do so in a structured and focused way - or to develop their own capabilities. Gareth’s aim is to share boiled-down, high quality resources that help them grow their business and grow as leaders.
